Justice Delayed: Wrongful Incarceration from Mandela to Today

Thursday, April 22, 6:30pm Central Time

Community partner: Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida

As it was when Mandela was imprisoned nearly 60 years ago, the who, what, where, when, and why of incarceration remains a challenging topic. We invite you to a powerful dialogue about ending injustice in our prison and legal systems with Floyd Stafford, Sr. Project Manager National Initiatives - Research & Policy at Heartland Alliance and Co-founder of The Alumni Association, a peer support network for the formerly incarcerated. La Tanya Jenifor-Sublett, Community Activist who was wrongfully convicted & incarcerated, and Dr. Lisa Lee, Executive Director, National Public Housing Museum and Teacher at Statesville Prison will join Mr. Stafford.
