Live Performance: Animation, Imagination and Education

Selected date

Thursday July 12

Selected time

7:00 PM  –  8:30 PM

Family conflict, violence, racial discrimination, sexual harassment and antisemitism are among the serious issues embedded throughout our favorite animated films. Join us as former Steinway pianist Dr. Berman brings soundtracks to life and reveals the hidden truths found in our favorite animated gems, with examples like the sexism of Mulan, the isolation of the Hunchback of Notre Dame and the struggle for power in The Lion King. This evening is intended for the young at heart.
