2022 We Are Here: Songs of the Holocaust | A Community-Wide Yom HaShoah Commemoration

Conceived by Ira Antelis, hosted by Rabbi Shoshanah Conover, and produced by David Mendelson along with Ira Antelis and Jeremy Perlin, the concert will honor the memory of those who were murdered and highlight the artists and writers who, in the worst of times, continued to create. With a 25-piece choir and performances and readings from some of Chicago’s top artists, cantors, and leaders, this powerful concert will include a candle-lighting ceremony and memorial prayers.

This program is free to the public.

Doors open at 6:30 pm. Program begins at 7:00 pm CDT.

Illinois Holocaust Museum is a partner with the Jewish United Fund in serving our community. 

Holocaust Community Services’ social services for Jewish Nazi victims have been supported by a grant from
